Success in Service Business
In Service Industry, successful business has some common traits.
Those traits are “They Are Efficient, Fast, Affordable and Customer Oriented Services”.
To make this happen, you can do:
1. Systemize every thing in your business.
Make regulations for all things: acceptable and unacceptable behavior, all routine task, how to handle certain condition, meetings, monitoring, responsibility line, schedule, and customer input.
Use computer to make Database, Sales, Purchasing, and Stock Management.
2. Train your staff.
Tell them about your business. It’s Vision, Mission, and Culture. How to do their job and expected outcomes. Use personality profile to understand their self and other people. Train them how to handle customer and what to do when some customer complaint.
3. Develop good Communication and Team Work.
Develop your communication channel, either it through email or just yelling across the room. Make common goals, that will fire them up and make sure its get done. Build a social gathering among your team member.
4. Good Reward and Punishment scheme
Make sure they know their job’s KPI (Key Performance Index). Link their bonuses to those KPI’s. Include customer satisfaction into it and give them certain level of authority to solve customer problems. Reward them not only with monetary, but also a token of appreciation and words of praise.
Train your underperformer team member (who don’t accomplish their KPI’s well). If it doesn’t work, make sure they leave the “Bus”. They have a better place out there than here with you.

How to tease your customer?
You must remember that there must be a NEED first.
You cannot sell a product or service that no body need.
There are 2 basic human needs… it is to have pleasure and avoid pain.
This is a big secret… if you understand and able to use this two factor in your marketing campaign, you can be millionaire.
So our product must be able to give pleasure and/or omit pain from our customer life…
And there are 6 modern human needs…have safety or have variety, be similar or unique, to contribute, or to grow.
To be able to tease our consumer, we must put solution for one of these needs in our product. Because our product fill their need, they will remember, than seek our product. And, hopefully, buy our product.
Have a GREAT BUSINESS DAY…

While I am no marketing expert, I have my own opinion about advertising.
In this consumer world today, we face many chalenges in business, where goods are produce more than consumtion. This means more choise for the customer and more competition for the business. Effort must be made to ensure that customer choose our good. This will make money come to our pocket (this is very important). Without income and profit, our business die… It is that simple.
For many business, advertising is blood supply for the live of business. Advertising give us customers to support the business.
So advertising must be able to attract customers. And to attract people it must be something different from every day life, but not unnatural.
Recently there is an ad in my national tv. A bank give cars for you if you open an account. This a reguler strategy, but they make the ad similar like headline news. It said “ A car landed on roof top. What happen?” This is new in our advertising history. So many people look at it anxiously looking forward to know what really happening. Next week, the ad tell us that it caused by a typhoon of gift from that bank. And the lucky winner can have that car.
Now days… people may consider open an account in that bank. Not like just any ad from other bank, this one tease a person mind to remember their promotion (even the same and bigger promotion already used).
So the bottom line about advertising is you have to be able to tease your consumer to buy your goods or they will kill your product in their mind.

Pray with Faith
This is one of the greatest forces on earth.
When you pray, you tap into the abundant.
The whole universe makes a plot to see you succeed.
The best pray to make you believe you can succeed is giving thanks.
We give thanks that what we want is already happening.
Before praying, we imagine what we want in detail. We experience when we get what we want. We hear sounds, praises, and words in great joy. We smell it and taste it. Then… we give thanks with all our heart to God and we promise that we will make it useful to many people too.
A word of caution in this one…

We can also put motivating word to inspire us.
We imagine our goals continously.
This is a way to keep our RAS activated.

You must know why you can believe it.

= Because I am a person who willing to learn and take action. I am strong and I have succeeded many times before.

How can you have a strong and positive believes (1)
This is one way:
Rearrange your statement about money and wealth consciously.
Most of us learn about money when we are small and live in our father’s house.
We see how our parent reacts to money problem. We copy their behavior. We appreciate what they appreciate, and hate what they hate. It can be in verbal form (a statement or a story), but more often in body language form (we see them despise or love something).
Now after we can take responsibility of our own life, we can make how WE are going to react about money and wealth.
Now, we decide what best for our life.
First, list all of your believes about money and wealth.
Then, change all believes that not support you to be wealthy.
After that, every time your old believes come out, rejected it and say your new believes.
Example:
Bad believe:
“Money is root of all evil”.
Wealthy believe:
“Love of money is root of all evil. With money, I can support my family well. Many problems rise because lack of money. And lack of money makes people fight each other”.
Bad believe”
“It is hard to find money. It takes a lot hard work. I’ll never be rich. I have no talent”.
Wealthy believe:
“Money is easy to find to those know how to find it. I have to find a smart and easy way to wealth. Yes, it also takes hard work, but hard work is fun. I love hard work; it makes my body, mind, and soul healthy and prosperous”.
“God wants me to be Rich. He provides me with everything I need. I am His ambassador in this world. To make this world a better place and help other people. And that needs a lot of money”.
Bad believe:
“Money isn’t everything. Money can’t buy sleep or love”.
Wealthy believe:
“Money isn’t everything, true, but everything needs money. Money can’t buy sleep, true, but my sleep is better with cozy bed and nice bedroom. Money can’t buy love, true, but I can express a better love with my money, and it will make my love life very beautiful”.

“You don’t bring your money when you are dead. Why do you work so hard, just so other people can enjoy your money?”
Wealthy believe:
“It’s true that you don’t bring your money to the grave. But with the right medication I can avoid sickness and death, which needs a lot of money. Mean while, as I live, I want to live happy, joyful, and satisfied. And when I have to leave this world, I want to leave a good heritage that will bless my sons and grandsons, and so they can enjoy a good live too.

“Rich people are stingy, evil, and have unhappy life”.
Wealthy believe:
“Those are stupid rich people. There are many happy rich people. And it’s better to be rich and unhappy then poor but also unhappy. When I am rich, I will make more donation and contribution to human kind”. (Bill Gates gives US$1 million to AIDS research, so our brother and sister can have a cure, and that is a lot of money).
Now it’s your turn….

GOAL Setting (2)
Today will talk about 3 principles to make a GOAL.
A Goal must be Specific.
If you say “I just want to be rich”, then you won’t achieve anything. Because being rich is all about point of view. Some one consider having $100 in his pocket to be the richest day in his life, other consider having $100.000 in his bank account worth nothing.
If you say “I want to be richer”, then when I give you a dollar, you will be richer than yesterday [Mission accomplished (^_^)]
Make very clear what you want and when you want to have it.
Cause: Clarity is Power.
A Goal must be form in positive words.
Just for your information: Our subconscious mind don’t know negative words.
It just realizing thought that dominate our mind.
If you say “I don’t want to be poor”, our mind catches the grand word: POOR. And the thing we want to avoid is what happening to us.
A little demonstration: “Right now, I don’t want you to imagine a blue elephant!”
And your imagination is …
Get the point?
So form your goal in positive words.
And to make it even better, Write it with positive emotion and as if you already achieve it.
Example: “With joy and gladness, I (your name) already have $1 million, since (the date you want to have it).
A Goal must be Written
In 1954, Yale University makes a research to their graduation on who already have written goals. There only 3 % who did it. Twenty years later, they continue the research. The result is very interesting. That 3% who write their goals, have more net worth than 97% combined. Wow… that’s powerful.
When we write our goals, it makes clear to our mind that we are serious. We will activate RAS (Reticular Active System) in our brain. RAS is like a device in missile that will chase target and make a correction step until it hit the target.

If you say “I just want to be rich”, then you won’t achieve anything. Because being rich is all about point of view. Some one consider having $100 in his pocket to be the richest day in his life, other consider having $100.000 in his bank account worth nothing.
If you say “I want to be richer”, then when I give you a dollar, you will be richer than yesterday [Mission accomplished (^_^)]

Why and how to set a clear and solid goal.

Success Formula
Do you believe it?
There is a formula to achieve success.
A success coach told me this formula:

FEEL IN CERTAIN WAY
ACT IN CERTAIN WAY
To be a millionaire,
You must think like a millionaire, fell like a millionaire felt, and do what a millionaire do.
Think like a millionaire
Usually they have goals. A Goal make you move to a destination. It will focus and direct your energy and effort to be a millionaire.

Millionaires also have certain traits. These traits form by principles they hold. These become fundamental in decision making. You can find these principles in this blog.
Fell like a millionaire felt
Be confident, brave, dare to take action, commitment and responsible for your own life.

Act: do what a millionaire do.
There is millions way to be a millionaire. First you must choose what kind of millionaire you want to be, and then you must choose what millionaire’s route you want to take.
